Referendum Eve Vigil The Uniting Church invites you to join in prayer with UCA community from across the country on the eve of the Referendum on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice, Friday 13 October, 11.00am to 5.00pm (AWST).
Congregations across the country will open their sanctuaries for the local community to gather and pray. Each location will also be connected to a single zoom webinar, taking turns to lead prayer and worship. Star Street Uniting Church is hosting a prayer session as part of the vigil from 2.00pm to 2.30pm. The Star Street Uniting Church doors will be open for the duration of the Prayer Vigil.
Uniting Generations Network MeetingThe next gathering of the Uniting Generations Network is on Monday 16 October from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Mount Pleasant Uniting Church. We will be looking at the new Assembly Intergenerational materials and at how to deal with challenging behaviours when working with children.
