Hi there Welcome to the March Newsletter!

Love Windermere

Hi there,

Welcome to the Love Windermere March newsletter

As we move into spring, this issue brings a fresh wave of insight, research, and community stories from across the catchment. From national policy to on‑the‑ground action, the work to protect Windermere continues to gather pace.

We’re featuring our progress update on our first 3 months delivery of our Action Plan, DEFRA’s new water white paper, marking World Water Day, welcoming international scientists to the catchment, and sharing practical guidance on greener boating. You’ll also find details of our 2026 drop‑ins and updates from our partners.

Together, these pieces show how collaboration, science, and everyday choices all play a role in shaping a healthier future for Windermere.

Taking action to improve water quality
