National Stress Awareness Month

Keeping Kids Healthy
Well-child visits are an important opportunity for caregivers to ensure their child is growing and developing as they should be. During these visits, a Children's Health provider can identify and address any potential health concerns before they become more serious. It's also a chance for parents to ask questions and receive advice on how to best support their child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Call your child's care team to schedule a visit today!

Get to Know Our Providers
Michael Kim, NP
Michael Kim is a nurse practitioner at Lawndale Christian Health Center, where he provides care and resources to patients facing difficulties and hardships. Inspired by a desire to help others, he pursued a career in medicine and earned his degree from UIC.
Michael's approach to patient care involves educating patients on managing their conditions and connecting them to available resources, such as the Veggie Rx program (in collaboration with the Farm on Ogden) and Lawndale Christian Fitness Center. He strives to establish a healthy relationship with his patients by working together on solutions and plans for care. Michael is committed to being a good steward of his passions and talents in his work at Lawndale Christian Health Center.

Immediate Care Center
We offer a team of experienced medical professionals at LCHC's Immediate Care Center to prioritize patient comfort and care, working to ensure each individual receives the attention they need. From minor injuries to illnesses and infections, the center's extended hours make it easy and convenient for patients to receive acute care appointments.
Please start by calling your Care Team. If no same-day appointments are available, they will refer you to the Immediate Care Center.
Lawndale 5K | September 30th
We are gearing up for our 15th annual Lawndale 5k on September 30th, 2023! This community event has become a staple on the West Side for walkers, runners, and families looking to make memories together. This year, you can get $20 back when you refer 5 friends with your unique link. Sign up today and start getting the word out. The cost is just $25 for adults until June 30th!
