Hello!
I can’t believe we are now into October, and here in Melbourne we had some lovely days but also some very windy ones too!
My catalogue is coming together nicely and there will be an online version too! So if any of you would like it sent to friends who need jewels or work on their jewels, then please just let me know.

Since I last wrote I've been asked to speak twice on the Afternoon Show of ABC Radio 774 which I have really enjoyed. Trevor Chappell and I have a bit of banter going while listeners are calling in with very interesting comments and questions.
Also this last week The Hamilton Spectator wrote a great article about my upcoming talk for The Victorian Seniors Festival this week in Hamilton. The subject is of course Elizabeth Taylor, who truly was a great jewellery collector and wearer. For any of you who didn't know SBS have a three-part documentary "Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar" which started this last week on Thursdays at 8.30pm where there is much more to learn about this legendary actor.
Upcoming Events
For those of you in Sydney Susannah Fullerton OAM and I will be giving 2 talks on Friday 8th November entitled “In the garden with ….” Susannah will speak about Vita Sackville-West while I will be giving my Rachael “Bunny" Mellon talk. If the response is anything like Melbourne it will be enjoyed immensely. Click here for bookings.
Looking ahead for Melburnians, Kenneth Park and I will also be giving a double act on Wednesday 27th November entitled “Paris - City of Style and French Jewellery Houses” both of these talks have been especially written for this event and it would be lovely to see you there. Multi-Coloured Sapphire Rhondel necklace

As for some new jewels in my collection this month, it's this lovely carved multi-coloured Sapphire rhondel necklace. With beads graduating from 7.5mm to 14.5mm on a 14ct gold clasp it measures 45cm long and is priced at $2,450.00. It has earrings to match for $950 and both can be found on my website.
