AusBike Funding For Children Purpose: To help more children enjoy the mental and physical health benefits of outdoor exercise. Parents or carers can enrol their children locally for term-based programs which will be delivered nationally by accredited instructors through cycling and riding clubs, leisure centres and private coaches. Long Tan Bursary Amount: $12,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: The Long Tan Bursary helps eligible children and grandchildren of Vietnam veterans pay for their tertiary education. Each year 37 bursaries are awarded to successful applicants across Australia. Each bursary is worth up to $12,000 over 3 years of continuous full-time study. For more information: Click here

National Science Week 2024 Grants Amount: $2000 - $20,000
Closing Date: 11 December 2023
Purpose: The grants can support both in-person and online projects, as long as there is genuine public participation and engagement For more information: Click here

On Farm Connectivity Program Amount: $3,000 - $30,000
Closing Date: 30 June 2024
Purpose: To enable primary producers in agriculture, forestry and/or fisheries to claim a rebate of between $3,000 and $30,000 for the sale of eligible equipment, with primary producers accessing discounted prices. The rebate can be claimed for up to 50 per cent of the cost of the eligible equipment. For more information: Click here

Schools Upgrade Fund Round 2 - Government Schools Amount: $250,000
Closing Date: 29 February 2024
Purpose: The SUF Round 2 will support government schools invest in larger-scale capital fund projects, such as new classrooms, building refurbishments, outdoor learning spaces or major upgrades. A minimum of $250,000 (GST exclusive) of funding must be committed to each project. For more information: Click here

School Student Broadband Initiative Amount: Access 12 months free broadband
Closing Date: 31 December 2024
Purpose: To provide up to 30,000 families with no internet at home free NBN for 12 months. To be eligible, a family must: - Have a child living at home that is enrolled in an Australian school.
- Have no active broadband service over the NBN network.

Veteran Wellbeing Grants (VWG) Program Amount: $50,000 - $150,000
Closing Date: 23 January 2024
Purpose: To provide funding for ex-service organisations (ESOs) to undertake projects and activities that sustain or enhance health and social wellbeing, build community capacity, potentially expand on existing projects and raise awareness of important issues faced by the veteran community. Applications will be considered under grant categories: - Stream A Small Grants (up to a maximum of $50,000 per grant)
- Stream B
Large Grants (from $50,001 to a maximum of $150,000 per grant).

Active Kids Program Amount: $50
Closing Date: 31 January 2024
Purpose: The NSW Government has announced changes to the Active Kids and First Lap programs. From 1 July 2023, all children enrolled in school will be eligible for a new $50 Active Kids voucher which will be valid until 31 January 2024. The voucher will be issued twice a year, at the start of Terms 1 and 3 and will cover activities currently available under the Active and Creative Kids programs. For more information: Click here

Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund Amount: $40,000
Closing Date: 20 December 2023
Purpose: To support cricket in local communities. The ACIF is open to all clubs, associations, schools, councils and cricket facility managers. Typical projects include the construction or refurbishment of pitches, ovals, practice facilities, change rooms, pavilions and supporting infrastructure. For more information: Click here

Energy Consumer Australia Amount: $15,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To enable residential or small business consumer advocacy by participation in current or forthcoming government, regulatory, or industry decision-making processes, or for small, targeted research projects. For more information: Click here

ClubGrants Category 3: Community Infrastructure Amount: $50,000 - $250,000
Closing Date: 18 December 2023
Purpose: To fund the costs of construction, alteration, renovation, completion and fit-out of buildings and community infrastructure For more information: Click here

Environmental Education Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: 5 February 2024
Purpose: To provide funds to projects that develop knowledge and skills in protecting and restoring our environment. Funding proposals are expected to incorporate the following elements: - environmental benefit
- community need
- collaboration
- transformative learning
leading to behavioural change
- evaluation and dissemination.

Local Sport Defibrillator Grant Program Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: 23 February 2024
Purpose: To provide Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and associated equipment to NSW sport and recreation facilities and clubs. For more information: Click here

Regional Skills Relocation Grant NSW Amount: $12,500
Closing Date: 15 December 2023
Purpose: This program assists regional NSW businesses in identified industries attract skilled and specialised employees from NSW metropolitan areas, interstate or internationally, to regional NSW. Up to $1,000 of the grant may be accessed to support an in-person candidate interview, or pre-employment site-visit (payable if candidate is successfully employed). For more information: Click here

Surf Club Facility Program Amount: $100,000 - $500,000
Closing Date: Category 1 - 11 December 2023, Category 2 & 3 – 31 January 2024.
Purpose: NSW Surf Life Saving Clubs can apply for new and improved facilities following the opening of the NSW Government’s Surf Club Facility Program. - Category 1 applications - Facility improvements projects with a total project cost less than $100,000
- Category 2 applications - Small - Medium construction projects with a total project cost from $100,000 up to $500,000
- Category 3 applications - Large construction projects with a total project cost above $500,000

Youth Week Grants up for Grabs in Lake Mac Amount: $1,500

Purpose: Lake Macquarie City Council will inject thousands of dollars into activities for young people across the city to help celebrate Youth Week 2024. Youth Week will be held 11-24 April 2024. Westfield Local Heroes Amount: $20,000
Closing Date: 18 March 2024
Purpose: This is a recognition and shines the spotlight on individuals who make a positive impact to their local community or environment. Community members nominate their heroes. The successful hero for each of the 42 Westfield Centres is awarded a $20,000 grant for the organisation or group they represent, and each finalist receives a $5,000 grant for their organisation or group.
