The Institute of Translational Health Sciences is pleased to announce the 2024 cohort of scholars for the ITHS KL2 Multidisciplinary Clinical Research Career Development Program. Benjamin Lidgard, Kristian Jones, Michelle Guignet, and Jonathan An are early career investigators who will be provided with research time, funding, mentorship, and other necessary resources to foster the development of their clinical and translational research skills. KL2 PROFILE: Germán Gornalusse PhD, MS, is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology 

Dr. Gornalusse’s educational background spans across continents, reflecting a diverse and rich academic experience.

The disability population has often been excluded from biomedical research. ITHS: SUPPORTING RESEARCH EFFORTS OF JUNIOR INVESTIGATORS

The ITHS offers Catalyst Awards  to provide “just-in-time” resources especially to early  career investigators looking to complete a project or collect pilot data for a larger grant application.  

The ITHS also offers Voucher Awards as “in-kind” service vouchers in support of outstanding translational research.
