CONTINUING TO FIGHT PROPOSED QUARRY

Following a meeting with No Quarry community champion Carol and representatives from Mitchell Shire Council, Fiona Patten MP has vowed to raise the community’s concerns about the proposed quarry in Beveridge/Wallan in Parliament.

Council has received more than 500 postcards from residents worried about the negative impacts of the quarry; this is on top of the more than 1040 submissions that were made to the Victorian Planning Authority during the recent consultation on the Beveridge North West Precinct Structure Plan.

If you have a concerns about the quarry, let Minister Wynne and your local MPs know.
