COVID-19 Compliance Update Changes to Face Covering Requirements in Cal/OSHA ETS March 3, 2022 What has changed? The Governor’s Order suspended that section of Cal/OSHA’s Emergency Temporary Standard (Title 8, Section 3205, (c)(6)(a) which states “For all employees who are not fully vaccinated, employers shall provide face coverings and ensure they are worn when indoors or in vehicles.” At the time the Order was issued, CDPH released this helpful resource - Masking and COVID-19 in California: When Should You Wear a Mask? Although both the CDC and the CDPH no longer require the use of face masks indoors, other than in specific settings such as health care facilities and on public transportation, they strongly recommend their use. What is still required?
