Note from the RE:
It’s been a busy month between the last time you heard from me. I participated in my first ever Rallycross event (and school) and we had two weekends of Autocross. Our first two events at Elmerton were long, but fun (and we’re going to work on some changes to make the day shorter for all of us). We also had an event at a new venue, and things couldn’t have gone better. The owners of Bendigo Airport (three brothers, Paul, Brian and Gene) were so welcoming, and we had a wonderful time.
We have some exciting things on the horizon, and I’m really looking forward to the way this season is shaping up!
Just in case I haven’t mentioned this in a while… I’m always here if you have any questions/comments/concerns - never hesitate to reach out.

HELP! Do You Know How to Use Wordpress?
We’re looking for some help with our website. If you’ve looked at it lately, you can see that it just doesn’t want to behave itself. Some of the issues we’re having are above our (non-existent) pay grades, and we’re looking for someone to help us out. If you have Wordpress experience or web development skills and you’d be interested in helping, we would LOVE to hear from you. Please email me at mmauro@scca-susq.com and we can chat.
Autocross Events 3 & 4 - June 4
Registration is now open for our next events in June. We’ve upped the cap to 120, and we’re going to be holding fast on that cap (we won’t be accepting people on the waitlist going forward). We currently have 68 people for the AM event, and 55 for the PM. If you’re thinking about registering, make sure you do it soon, so you can get in.
We look forward to seeing you there!

We’re going to begin rotating venues in 2022! Keep your eyes peeled each month to make sure you know where we’ll be meeting!

Our next meeting will be held in the back dining room at Devil’s Eye Brewing Company, located at 9 North US 15, Dillsburg, PA 17019. All members are encouraged to attend. Come an hour early for dinner (and a drink) with other members.
The staff has reserved a section for us from 5:30pm until they close. Please make sure you tell them you’re with the SCCA group, and they will get you seated with us. We look forward to seeing you!

RallyCross National Championship Returning to Colorado
MAY 2, 2022 — The date and location for the 2022 SCCA RallyCross National Championship have been locked in, with RallyCrossers from across the nation now set to converge on Pikes Peak International Raceway in Fountain, CO, on Sept. 23-25.
Jointly hosted by members of the Colorado and Continental Divide Regions, the Colorado RallyCross group will bring the National Championship event back to Colorado. The last time the RallyCross National Championship took place in Colorado was 2009-’10, when the National Championship was hosted at the U.S. Truck Driving School, just five miles south of Pikes Peak International Raceway.
Rebuilding ProSolo: One Year Later
MAY 17, 2022 — The 2021 Charlotte ProSolo weekend experienced what was described at the time as a “catastrophic failure in the timing and scoring system” that brought the event to an early conclusion and made some competitors question the program’s viability. The result was the 2021 ProSolo season being immediately postponed. One year later, we have great news!
Time Trials Nationals 2022: Winners, Celebrations, and More!
MAY 16, 2022 — While Sunday’s KONI Podium Celebration brought the May 12-15, 2022, Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals Powered by Hagerty to a close, it also allowed competitors to celebrate everyone’s accomplishments before heading home from four days of fun at NCM Motorsports Park. And with more than 150 competitors this year, accomplishments were plenty. From podium finishers in 18 classes to numerous personal-best records and superlative awards, there was plenty to celebrate. But before we get into that, let’s review the weekend.
Developing an SCCA Enduro Tire Strategy
MAY 06, 2022 — With the SCCA Enduro National Tour at Nelson Ledges Presented by Summit Racing Equipment just weeks away on May 20-22, 2022, it’s time to button up your tire strategy. After all, 16 hours of racing in two days can be quite demanding where the rubber meets the road. SCCA Enduro rules require the use of 200 UTQG (or higher) tires, and since Hankook not only makes a potent tire in that category, but also supports SCCA Enduro National Tour racers via a healthy contingency program, we contacted Danny van Dongen from Hankook Motorsports for a look at how to prepare for that green flag.
