Now’s the Time to Refresh Your Deals and Packages

With a number of package and deal listings on thecoromandel.com due to expire, now is the ideal time to update your offering — either by extending current deals or uploading something new. This comes as Hauraki Coromandel is set to feature in two international campaigns targeting North America and Australia, supported by neighbouring regions as part of the National Tourism Boost Fund. These campaigns will focus heavily on driving bookings, with packages and deals being highlighted as a key conversion tool.

As we move into the cooler season consider what winter-specific offers you might want to promote. Now is when many are planning their winter getaways, so having your offer live and visible during this window is key.

You might also consider collaborating with other local operators to create multi-product packages that make planning and booking even easier for potential visitors — and even more enticing. Think accommodation + activity + dining = a complete Coromandel escape that is ready to go.

Get your deal in front of the right audience at the right time — update or upload your package today.

How to upload a product or deal

For the best exposure we recommend uploading your deal through the Tourism New Zealand Business Listing Portal. This ensures your offer is displayed on both the Tourism New Zealand website and our own website at thecoromandel.com.

To do this, simply log into your account in the Tourism Business Database, select "Deals" from the top menu, and create your offer. You’ll be able to preview it as you go.

If you don’t have a listing on newzealand.com, you can still promote your deal by logging into the Destination Hauraki Coromandel Members Portal and selecting "Manage Deals" from the left-hand menu.

Got an event coming up? We'd love to help spread the word, especially with Matariki just around the corner. Whether you're planning a local market, live music, festival, workshop, or something special to celebrate Matariki, make sure to keep us posted. You can upload your event directly to our website here and get it in front of locals and visitors planning their trip.
