College Graduate Internships
Each year we host a number of college graduate interns across various departments in our organization. These paid positions come with full benefits and are ideal for those considering a gap year or seeking to enhance their skills in the healthcare field. Applications for our Internship Program will be accepted until April 16th, 2024, with interviews conducted either in-person or remotely via video conference.

Amber Hoot, PA-C
Amber Hoot, PA-C, joined Lawndale Christian Health Center in October, drawn by a deep commitment to patient-centered care and a desire to contribute positively to the Lawndale community. Graduating from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, she pursued a career as a Physician Assistant after being inspired by the impactful role family doctors played in her life. Working in LCHC's Immediate Care Clinic, Amber provides compassionate care to patients while addressing acute complaints and collaborating with other clinics for follow-up visits and referrals. She shares, "What's most rewarding for me is when patients feel like they understand their bodies or themselves better after leaving a visit." Amber's approach to patient care emphasizes active listening, patient education, and restoring dignity, reflecting Lawndale's mission of loving God and loving people.
She says, "Being a part of our patients lives is a gift. The small interactions we have together can be very impactful on the rest of their lives."

This assessment is currently available to help guide the development or enhancement of community programs and services. Blood Drive | March 6th
