Hey there,

Last week, we talked about how to close the loop on your visibility efforts, from understanding why your audience isn't always ready for your product, to posting less, so you can focus on where your efforts really matter.

So what happens when someone finally lands on your site or profile and at the most important pre-purchase moment, something feels off and they click away.

It’s not always because of the design, or any particular word.

Sometimes it’s because the voice feels different or the tone doesn’t match. The user second guesses whether this is the site for the same brand. Even if they can’t name the feeling, something feels off and they choose not to continue.

Why does it happen?

Usually because you’ve been stretching yourself across too many platforms. Trying to be visible everywhere often means showing up inconsistently, so when that inconsistency carries over to your most important touchpoint like a landing page that’s where trust breaks down.

So here’s a gentle reframe I’ve been thinking about:

Instead of asking, “Where should I be posting more?”, try asking, “Where do I actually feel like myself?”

Because when you choose one channel where you feel at ease  and where your audience is already spending time, a few great things happen:

  1. Your messaging and tone stays consistent and you get more comfortable posting.

  2. Your energy is easier to maintain and you can keep up a regular rhythm.

  3. And most importantly, your audience starts to trust you.

According to HubSpot’s 2025 report, people want to connect with brands that show up in the same channels not everywhere, just somewhere real.

So if your marketing feels like a chore, or your traction feels scattered, maybe the answer isn’t to do more, maybe it’s to do less, with more precision. You could even start feeling… refined.

Next week, I’ll share tools and founder stories to help you start finding your home channel and building your own traction.

See you then!

Warmly,
