Nutrient Neutrality Northwest is rebranding to Cumbria Nutrient Neutrality

We’re pleased to share that the Nutrient Neutrality Northwest partnership has relaunched under a new name: Cumbria Nutrient Neutrality (CNN). 

The refreshed identity makes clear that our work focuses on catchments across Cumbria — protecting rivers and lakes while supporting sustainable growth. 

Alongside the new name, we have launched a dedicated website:

The site is now the single home for: 

• Planning and validation guidance for developers 
• Resources for property and landowners, including non-mains drainage upgrades and mitigation opportunities 
• Updates on partnership projects and future credit trading 

This is a joint initiative from Westmorland and Furness Council, Cumberland Council, and the Lake District National Park Authority.
