HIV/AIDS Awareness Month
December is HIV/AIDS Awareness Month. At LCHC, we provide free HIV testing, results counseling, and support groups to ensure access to vital resources for those affected. In Chicago, over 600 new HIV diagnoses were reported in 2023, with over 23,000 residents currently living with HIV. This month, we encourage everyone to get tested and learn about available resources in your community. Free Pregnancy Tests
LCHC offers free pregnancy testing at all our clinic locations to make care accessible when you need it most. Tests are available on a walk-in basis, or you can schedule a same-day appointment with your care team. Kimberly Delp, NP
Kim Delp is a dedicated nurse practitioner who recently joined Lawndale after completing a 14-year missionary journey in Ecuador, where she worked extensively with refugees and immigrants. She brings a deep passion for holistic care, drawing inspiration from her international experiences and a lifelong calling to serve others. A graduate of North Park University and Rush University, Kim’s approach to patient care emphasizes radical hospitality, compassion, and seeing patients as whole individuals—addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Her commitment to treating others as she would her own family is rooted in her faith and mission to connect with patients on a human level. Kim strives to create a welcoming environment where every person feels seen, known, and cared for.
She says, "Radical hospitality is a lost art in what we do, but I think it’s what Christ calls us to—and it’s the way I want to care for my patients."

Our dedicated Mobile Health Team visits local partner shelters throughout the year, ensuring patients have access to the care they need. This Christmas, we’re preparing over 1,200 gift bags filled with essential toiletries and cozy winter items like hats, gloves, and socks.
