Good Sammy Clothing Donation DriveWould your congregation or community group like to host a Good Sammy Enterprises donation drive? As the cold weather lingers across Western Australia, demand for warm, good quality pre-loved clothing is still high in the Good Sammy stores. To help meet that need, Good Sammy has launched a Clothing Donation Drive campaign and they would love our Uniting Church WA community to get
involved.
Good Sammy creates jobs and training opportunities for people with disability in WA. Every great item donated will help stock their stores for winter and support their amazing work.
When you register for the donation drive you will have access to a helpful toolkit with posters, a how-to guide, tips and ready-to-use content for newsletters and social media to help spread the word in your community.
August Fellowship NewslinkThe August edition of Fellowship Newslink is out now! Newslink is a publication of the WA Uniting Church Adult Fellowship (UCAF). Printed copies of Newslink are being sent to all congregations and direct subscribers this week. You can also read Newslink online on the Uniting Church WA website.
Formation Focus Week SurveyThe Uniting Centre for Education and Formation (UCEF) invites everyone who engaged with the Formation Focus Week resources and events to share their feedback in a brief survey. As well as a Friday gathering, UCEF prepared worship resources and a study guide for small groups. They would appreciate you completing the survey, whether you used the resources or not, to help with Formation Focus Week planning for next year.
