KILMORE EAST BRIDGE Road closure extension

Mitchell Shire Council is extending the road closure for the Kilmore East Road bridge upgrade between O’Sheas Road and Dry Creek Road until mid-July

The road was due to re-open next week but has been extended due to material supply, sub-contractor health and design-change issues.

We are working closely with the contractor to complete the works and re-open as soon as possible.

QUARRY FIGHT GOES TO PARLIAMENT

Beveridge and Wallan residents took to the steps of Parliament House on Wednesday to tell the State Government in no uncertain terms they do not want the proposed quarry in their suburbs.

Residents shared their concerns with Member for Northern Metropolitan Fiona Patten, Leader of the Victorian Greens Samantha Ratnam, Member for Northern Victoria Wendy Lovell, Member for Yan Yean Danielle Green, and Shadow Minister for Energy and Renewables Craig Ondarchie.

Fiona Patten accepted a petition with more than 1360 signatures against the proposed quarry that she will table in Parliament.

This quarry is not a done deal – be a part of history and make your voice count.
