SEMESTER EXCHANGE DEADLINE EXTENDED!

If you didn't get a chance to apply for the Semester Exchange overseas, we are happy to announce that the deadline for Semester Exchange Autumn 2023 to the USA, Canada, Asia and UAE has been extended until 30 June 2022!

Don't forget we have a heap of Australian Government New Colombo Plan (NCP) Grants available to support eligible students when applying for a semester exchange at one of our host universities throughout Asia. You may receive up to $8,500 to support your study overseas.

UOW TRAVEL GRANTS

All exchange and short course students are eligible to apply for a UOW travel grant. As a condition of receiving a UOW travel grant, all students must meet the UOW travel grant requirements. 

Semester Exchange travel grants

Each student undertaking a semester exchange may be eligible to receive a $1,000 UOW travel grant from the Office of Global Student Mobility (OGSM). To be considered, students must submit their online applications by the relevant deadline.

Short Course travel grants

Each student undertaking a short course program may be eligible to receive a $500 UOW short course travel grant. To be considered, students must submit their online application by the below dates:

  • Winter programs: 15th April
  • Summer programs: 15th September

AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT TRAVEL GRANTS

UOW has a number of Australian Government New Colombo Plan (NCP) Travel Grants available for Australian undergraduate students who are interested in undertaking a semester exchange or short courses in the Indo-Pacific region.

You may be eligible for an NCP Grant of up to $8,500 if you apply to study overseas in one of the following countries: China, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Caledonia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

It’s been quite a year for all of us, and while we’ve all grown and adapted to virtual learning, many students have taken this to another level with virtual global experiences.

VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS

Sessions are available each week on Mondays and Wednesdays at 2 pm via Zoom.
