Installation of Rev David Jackson as Moderator

All are welcome to the Installation of Rev David Jackson as Moderator of the Uniting Church in Western Australia.

In a special meeting of the Synod of WA, on Saturday 25 October, 2.00pm, Rev David Jackson will be Installed as our next Moderator.  The service will be at Mount Pleasant Uniting Church.  

All are welcome to join us in celebrating this important moment in the life of the Uniting Church WA.

Climate Care and Net Zero

Synod 2025 - Climate Care and Net Zero Emissions

Uniting Church WA affirms our ongoing commitment to being faithful stewards of our God-given planet earth and calls on State and Federal Government to take further steps to strengthen climate care and establish a pathway to net zero emissions.

The decisions were made at the 49th Annual meeting of the Synod of WA which took place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September 2025, building on a long tradition of environmental concern by the Uniting Church WA.

Campfire 2025

Campfire 2025 – sharing faith, community and fireside chats

For 19 years, Campfire has been bringing people together from across the Uniting Church WA (and beyond!) 

Over the years, organisers have been continually amazed by the number of people who make the annual journey — especially the many families with children who just keep coming back. This year, 105 campers gathered in Yealering to encourage one another in faith, marvel at God’s good creation, and simply slow down.

New Booking Options for Busselton Campsite

Sites at the Uniting Church WA Campsite in Busselton can now be booked for single night stays!

As the weather begins to warm up it's a great time to consider your next seaside getaway.  Our property team are now able to offer more flexible booking options at the Uniting Church campsite in Busselton.

Sites can now be booked for a nightly rate of $30 per night (powered site) and $25 per night (unpowered).  Go to our website to make your next booking.

Uniting Aid Annual Public Meeting

Uniting Aid Thanksgiving Service and Annual General Meeting

You are warmly invited to attend the Uniting Aid Thanksgiving Service and Annual Public Meeting on Sunday, 9 November 2025 at All Saints Floreat Uniting Church.

This special occasion provides an opportunity to give thanks for God’s blessings, celebrate our dedicated volunteers, and hear updates on Uniting Aid’s ongoing mission to support those experiencing hardship in our community.

National History Society Conference meets (UCA)

The fifth biennial conference of the Uniting Church National History Society proved to be a time to consider contemporary issues as much as former glories or disasters. Speakers addressed the theme, ‘The Church as a prophetic voice in Australian society: past, present and future’.  Read Article

Juniper Seeking Two New Board Members
Juniper, a proud agency of the Uniting Church, is currently seeking two new Non-Executive Board Members to join its Board in 2025 or early 2026.
They are seeking an Independent Board Member (preferably who is a member of the Uniting Church but not essential) and an Independent Co-opted Board Member. Presbytery of WA Meeting & Admission of Rev Craig Bosman
The November meeting of the Presbytery of WA will be on Saturday 8 November 2025 at St Peter & Emmaus Church, 56 Green St, Joondanna. This meeting will include the Admission of Rev Craig Bosman as a Minister of the Uniting Church in Australia as part of the opening worship. Advent and Christmas Think Tank
Kickstart your Advent and Christmas worship planning at our Think Tank on Wednesday, 29 October, 9.30am to 2.00pm at South Perth Uniting Church with keynote speaker Dr Meg Warner. Bring past ideas to share, gain fresh inspiration, and collaborate with colleagues in a creative and supportive space. This opportunity is open to ministers, pastors, lay preachers, ministry candidates (Phase 2 & 3), Period of Discernment candidates, and worship teams. Register on Eventbrite here.

Good Sammy Secondhand Mattresses
Good Sammy have 18 mattresses in varying size and condition (they are not new) that they are happy to deliver to one location at no charge if there is a congregation or group that has a use for them. Pride Church Service
Equal Voices WA, in collaboration with UCIC's Social.Justice.Church and St Andrew's Anglican Church, are holding a Pride church service on Sunday 9 November 2025, 6.00pm. The service at Uniting Church in the City, Wesley Perth will include voices from several Christian denominations, joining together to celebrate the love of God for the LGBTIQA+ community. The service will include preaching by Rev Simone Smalley, and communion which everyone is invited to join.

Willetton Variety Concert - Spring 2025
Willetton Uniting Church invite you to their Spring Variety Concert on Sunday 26 October 2025 at 10.45am. The concert will follow the morning church service which starts at 9.15am. Admission by donation.  

Mini Concert and Afternoon Tea to Celebrate Seniors
St Peter and Emmaus Church are hosting a free mini concert and afternoon tea to celebrate Seniors (just post Seniors Week) on Wednesday 19 November, 2.00pm to 4.00pm. No RSVP is required. All Welcome!

Formation and Learning Culture Co-Ordinator
The Formation and Learning Culture Co-ordinator will co-ordinate the formation programs and foster a learning culture within the Uniting Church in Western Australia.
