Installation of Rev David Jackson as ModeratorAll are welcome to the Installation of Rev David Jackson as Moderator of the Uniting Church in Western Australia. In a special meeting of the Synod of WA, on Saturday 25 October, 2.00pm, Rev David Jackson will be Installed as our next Moderator. The service will be at Mount Pleasant Uniting Church. All are welcome to join us in celebrating this important moment in the life of the Uniting Church WA. Synod 2025 - Climate Care and Net Zero EmissionsUniting Church WA affirms our ongoing commitment to being faithful stewards of our God-given planet earth and calls on State and Federal Government to take further steps to strengthen climate care and establish a pathway to net zero emissions. The decisions were made at the 49th Annual meeting of the Synod of WA which took place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September 2025, building on a long tradition of environmental concern by the Uniting Church WA. Campfire 2025 – sharing faith, community and fireside chatsFor 19 years, Campfire has been bringing people together from across the Uniting Church WA (and beyond!) Over the years, organisers have been continually amazed by the number of people who make the annual journey — especially the many families with children who just keep coming back. This year, 105 campers gathered in Yealering to encourage one another in faith, marvel at God’s good creation, and simply slow down.
