Seafarers seapost

Dear Supporter

Welcome to July edition of our Seapost e-newsletter.

In this edition, we’re delighted to announce our new CEO, Deborah Layde, as well as the appointment of five new trustees, and would also like to share Summer 2022 edition of our Seaview magazine with you and remind you to save the date for the upcoming Merchant Navy Day on 3 September.

To celebrate Maritime Safety Week 2022, we’re launching a new #SafetyDrillTime competition to increase awareness about the importance of safety at sea. Please get involved and help spread the word as there are some amazing safety gear prizes to be won, and the winning fishing crew will also get their photo featured in Fishing News.

Finally,  we’ll be celebrating our charity’s 105th birthday on 5 July and would like to use this occasion as an opportunity to say a big thank you to all our supporters for their continuous support. We’ve only been able to carry on supporting seafarers in need and their families because of the generous support received from our donors, volunteers and stakeholders over the years.

Best wishes,
Luca Selvaggio
