“I had a great time. The setting was casual. I talked with people with different perspectives, and had a lot of input—and I learned a lot! So, it was a huge plus for me.”
-Daniel Gaddis, Marietta resident, on his first Civic Dinner

Host or attend a dinner today!

Tell your friends! Hosting a Civic Dinner is easier than you think. Here’s why.

1. Our website will help with everything from listing your dinner, to guest sign-up, to following up with your guests before and after the dinner.

2. You don't need any special knowledge in these conversation topics, since we provide three simple, thought-provoking questions about your everyday life to shape the conversation.

3. You can host at home, or at a restaurant. Your dinner; your choice. (We’d like to hear about some of the more creative ones. A picnic? Brunch? A civic dinner at your home-owners association meeting? Please tell us!)

4. There’s little cost burden on hosts, since dinners are usually potluck. If you eat out, everyone pays their own way.

5. “Go ahead! Enjoy a drink, have some food, and you never know what you’re going to hear and might have in common with people at the table. So, enjoy yourself!”
-Rahsaan Overton, Marietta resident & Civic Dinners enthusiast
