Nick Eckert, MD

Nick Eckert, MD, is one of 6 residents in Lawndale Christian Health Center's Family Medicine Residency program. During his undergraduate at Lee University in Tennessee, Nick was inspired when he learned of LCHC's mission to promote health and wellness – fused with faith – within the Lawndale community. Now, as a family medicine doctor, Nick cares for patients at LCHC's main clinic with support and compassion. Nick states, "LCHC places community health as its primary objective, and this is a holistic approach that I believe should be done everywhere". Nick is committed to creating a collaborative bond as he connects with his patients through active listening, openness, and communication. To him, a doctor's visit isn't just a time to meet a patient's physical needs, but also a space to address spiritual wellness.

"I want my patients to know that no matter what their past experience with the medical system has been, I can be a person that will listen to them.​​​​​​​ I'm willing to work with them to get them where they want to be physically and spiritually."

Medicare Advantage | Switch or Drop Plans

Every year from January 1st to March 31st is the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period. During this time, if you have an existing Medicare Advantage plan, you can switch to another Medicare Advantage plan or drop your plan to return to Original Medicare. You can switch plans during this time whether or not you have drug coverage, and can choose a plan with or without drug coverage.
