UW teams whose innovation/research relates to discovery stage therapeutics, AI in pharma, or enabling life science innovations are encouraged to participate by pitching to and then meeting with industry/investor guests. meeting track: 5-minute lightning pitch followed by a series of 8 to 10 private 15-minute meetings with visiting companies/investors.

Cures Within Reach recently launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) for clinical repurposing trials in blood cancers from anywhere in the world. Blood cancer LOIs from anywhere in the world with budgets of up to $75,000 are due on July 29. While trials in any blood cancer are eligible, CWR has a preference for trials impacting multiple myeloma and/or myelodysplastic syndrome. Apply today or help us spread the word!

ITHS FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
ITHS is happy to announce that the application period for the 2025–2026 ITHS Pilot Program awards is now open. This program offers a wonderful opportunity for investigators from the five-state WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho) to receive funding to help their new research projects get off the ground. Letters of Intent for these awards are due on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
We are pleased to announce our partners at WE-REACH are offering a new quick turn-around funding opportunity for UW-affiliated teams that are advancing their therapeutic, device, and diagnostic life science products through key developmental milestones. Teams can apply for up to $150,000 to be used within 10 months of the award start date, which will be July 29, 2024. The 2024 Expo & Symposium was a rousing success this year, attracting over 100 guests at the Center for Urban Horticulture on the east side of the University of Washington campus. The event created a vibrant atmosphere for attendees eager to explore the latest advancements in health and technology.
