We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the Sedbergh School community for another extraordinary year. That doesn't mean that the School is empty though! Our International Summer School started on Tuesday and we are celebrating a record-breaking attendance. We're delighted to announce the appointment of James Anyon as the new Director of Cricket. You'll find a link to the Press Release below. James brings a wealth of experience and a passion for nurturing young talent to his new role. James will join the Sedbergh community with his family in January 2024. Last, but not least, we are honoured to let you know that we've been shortlisted for two prestigious awards in categories that mean a great deal to us: Sporting Achievement and Independent Prep School of the Year. 2023 Speech DayHeadmaster, Mr Dan Harrison, spoke of the academic and sporting achievements of our pupils - particularly highlighting the talent of Mahika, the first girl to play in our First XI cricket team, and our equestrian and target sports teams. He also spoke of the importance of our new digital strategy, linked to our technology centre, that is the start of a new era at Sedbergh and preparing Sedbergh pupils for the future.
