Get to Know Our ProvidersSarah Dickson, Nurse Practitioner Sarah Dickson, FNP, has dedicated her career to serving patients in the community through primary care, addiction medicine, and mobile health. With nearly a decade of experience, she has worked across Chicago with organizations such as Heartland Health Outreach and the University of Chicago, always drawn to care for people facing homelessness, poverty, and complex health challenges. Sarah describes her calling as both professional and spiritual, believing that each patient deserves to feel valued, heard, and cared for as a whole person. "Every patient deserves to feel valued, heard, and cared for as a whole person," she says. Sarah was inspired to join Lawndale after recognizing its mission of love in action—where patients truly remain at the center of care. For her, the most rewarding part of her work is walking alongside patients on their health journey and witnessing their growth over time.
