The Uniting Church in Australia Assembly has a refreshed and renamed hub for our UCA resources.

Previously known as Illuminate, this central platform brings together Assembly resolutions, justice and theology statements, worship and liturgical resources, governance documents, historical materials, and much more, all in one accessible location.

Hope Heroes: Kalamunda Uniting Church wins environmental awards

Kalamunda Uniting Church have been a recent recipient of three environmental awards for their efforts in sustainability, environmental themed worship and climate activism.

This new story on our website comes from the Five Leaf Eco-Awards - an ecumenical environmental change initiative for Australian churches and religious organisations founded in 2008 to assist, inspire and reward churches for environmental action.

Thrive Workshop Opportunities

Thrive Mission Committee welcomes Rev Alison Boulton, a leading voice in missional engagement within new housing areas, to Western Australia during July.

There are two seminar opportunities available, 22 July in Bunbury and 24 July in Guildford where Alison will lead sessions drawing on her 8-part course for discerning and equipping people and communities called to plant or grow expressions of church in new housing developments.

President's Conference 2025 - Registrations are now open for the President's Conference from 6 to 9 November 2025 at Nuku'alofa, Tonga. This opportunity is open to all members of the Uniting Church, and will be a time for worship, reflection, cultural immersion and dialogue with young leaders, elders and theologians. Spots are limited to 100 attendees, so early registration is encouraged.
Understanding LGBTIQA+ Diversity - Anglican Social Responsibilities Commission is running a community education workshop in partnership with SHQ, on Understanding LGBTIQA+ Diversity. It’s the first of a three-part series, with the first session being held at Applecross Anglican Church (St David’s) on Saturday 19 July, 1.00pm to 4.30pm. The session is free, with afternoon provided. The workshop is designed for a wide mix of faith and community members, seeking to offer a gentle, respectful space to explore language, experience, and inclusion—particularly for people who may be supportive, curious, or unsure but open to learning.
Ordination of Susan Lord - The Service of Ordination for Susan Lord as Minister of the Word which will take place on Saturday 2 August at All Saints Floreat Uniting Church starting at 2.00pm. All are welcome to come and celebrate this significant moment in Susan’s ministry journey. This is a service of the WA Presbytery and all Presbytery members are encouraged to attend.
Admission of Rev Roy Surjanegara - Rev Roy Surjanegara’s Service of Admission as Minister of the Word will be held on Sunday 31 August, 10.00am at GKI Uniting Church, 2A Willis St, Mosman Park. Roy came from the Gereja Kristen Indonesia and has been a minister in placement with the GKI Congregation in Perth since September 2018. All are welcome to join the GKI congregation's worship service to celebrate and officially admit Rev Roy Surjanegara into the Uniting Church in Australia.
‘Christmas in July Sale’ at Gosnells Uniting Church Op Shop - The Op Shop contributes 100% of its takings to YouthCare to support chaplaincy in schools. It has lots of Christmas Decorations in stock and is holding a ‘Christmas in July’ sale of these and other items on 24 to 26 July from 9.00am to 12.00pm to raise funds for this important work. Please note that this is a cash only shop, there are no EFTPOS facilities. Gosnells Uniting Church, corner of Burt and Hicks Street, Gosnells.
