Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day Service

An ecumenical service of healing, hope and remembrance for pregnancy and infant loss is taking place at Mount Pleasant Uniting Church on Sunday 12 October 2025, 3.30pm.

All are welcome to this service hosted by Rev Ana Leaaetoa, Chaplain at King Edward Memorial Hospital, and Minister of the Uniting Church.

Uniting Church Campsite

Uniting Church Campsite

The Uniting Church WA campsite is located in Siesta Park, Busselton, on the beautiful coastline of Geographe Bay - a great location for a beachside unwind.

The campsite has 19 powered sites and 7 unpowered sites that can be booked individually by Uniting Church community, employees and agencies.

Safe Church Workshops

Safe Church Training

There will be a Safe Church Awareness Workshop taking place on Saturday 18 October.

All ministers, pastors, church leaders, volunteers, members of congregations and those involved in community services are welcome and urged to attend. Refreshments will be provided.

Date - Saturday 18 October
Time - 9.00am to 2.00pm
Location - Perth Mar Thoma Church, 44-60 Station St, Martin.
Cost - $30

WA Synod 2025

WA Synod 2025

The 49th Annual Meeting of the Synod of WA is on the weekend of 13 & 14 September 2025 at Wesley College, South Perth.

Lay and ordained members appointed​ by reporting bodies will meet over two days to worship together, share experiences, receive reports and make decisions about the direction and administration of the Church. View the pastoral message from the Moderator here.

Improving e-Waste recovery across WA thanks to DWER support (Good Sammy)

Good Sammy is proud to share that we have received a State Government grant through the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) to expand our capacity to recover, test and reuse household electrical items – keeping them in the circular economy and out of landfill. Read Article

 
 

Take Action for the World Week for Peace in Palestine and Israel
An invitation to gather your community and take part in a creative action being coordinated by the Palestine and Israel Ecumenical Network. For the past two years the Palestine Israel Ecumenical Network (PIEN) have produced a video showing Christians holding signs calling for an end to the injustice in the Holy Land. This year they are once again calling all clergy and churches to take part in this simple action on Sunday 21 September, during the World Week for Peace in Palestine and Israel (20-26 September).

Uniting Church National History Society Conference 2025 - Online Registration
The UCNHS 2025 conference is taking place from 3 -5 October at Canberra City Uniting Church, Canberra, ACT.  The theme of the conference is "The Church as a Prophetic Voice in Australian Society: Past, Present and Future." Uniting WA - There is a Path Home
Real people. Real stories. Explore their journeys. The Path Home is a short documentary film by Uniting WA about human connection and its role in changing the lives of people who have experienced homelessness. Also available to download is the report commissioned by Uniting WA to better understand the real impact of the support they provide - The Path Home. Exploring pathways out of homelessness: Insights from lived experience. 

Osborne Park Uniting Church 110th Anniversary
The Osborne Park Uniting Church congregation will be celebrating their 110th Anniversary on Sunday 14 September at 9.30am followed by a sausage sizzle.  The church is located at 164 Edward St, Osborne Park. All are welcome!

Capel Uniting Church 60th Anniversary
Capel Uniting Church congregation will be celebrating 60 years of faith, love and community on Sunday 28 September at 2.00pm followed by afternoon tea. The service will be led by Rev Greg Ross.  The church is located at 5 Scott St, Capel. All are welcome!

A Note About Revive Magazine - please check your copies
Since distributing our August Revive magazines we have noticed that some copies have come back from our printing supplier with incorrect page ordering. Please check your Revive bundle when next able and let Wendy know if your magazines have this issue - wendy.hendry@wa.uca.org.au

Replacement copies of the August magazine will be available at the Synod meeting on 13 & 14 September. If your congregation have received batches with the printing error you are welcome to collect fresh ones on the weekend or contact Wendy to arrange a delivery/pickup.
