The ITHS profile series is meant to shine a deserving spotlight on individuals or programs within ITHS doing critical work across the vast spectrum of translational research. This September, we are focusing on work supported by ITHS Pilot Funds, and how a team helped find new ways to help culturally diverse families better access autism support services. Read more...

The ITHS TL1 Translational Research Training Program creates a cross-disciplinary community of emerging researchers and provides them with specific training, career development opportunities, and team science skills to help them function effectively within translational science teams. Pre-doctoral students in health-related programs at UW and MSU are welcome to apply between October 14th and December 16th. 

 

KL2 APPLICATIONS CLOSING SOON!

ITHS is currently accepting applications for the 2024-2025 cohort of the ITHS KL2 Multidisciplinary Clinical Research Career Development program.

The KL2 program provides the funding, mentorship, and training necessary to foster the early career development of clinical and translational researchers. Funded by the NIH, the KL2 program welcomes scholars from all health professions at the postdoctoral or early career faculty level.

Applications are due Monday, October 7th!

ACRP SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) has launched its 2025 scholarship and grant opportunities that aim to address insufficient representation and diversity within the clinical research workforce.

ACRP is offering scholarships to minority students in undergraduate and graduate programs to build their clinical research skills. They are also offering continuing education grants for clinical researchers from minority groups to attend the ACRP Annual Conference.

ITHS: SUPPORTING RESEARCH EFFORTS OF JUNIOR INVESTIGATORS

The ITHS offers Catalyst Awards  to provide “just-in-time” resources especially to early  career investigators looking to complete a project or collect pilot data for a larger grant application.  

The ITHS also offers Voucher Awards as “in-kind” service vouchers in support of outstanding translational research.
