Let's Keep Weaving Christ's Love
The 17th Assembly meeting wrapped up in Parramatta, NSW on Tuesday 16 July after six days of joyful Christian community, worship, prayer and discerning the will of God for the Uniting Church in Australia. The theme for the 17th Assembly is Threads of Love: Weaving Christ's Love Across Cultures & Boundaries.
Over six days from 11-16 July, more than 200 members from around the country, including 21 from Western Australia, came together on Burramattagal land to do the business of the triennial Assembly.

IPDC Quiz Night

The Uniting Church Synod of WA International Partnerships and Development Commission (IPDC) invite you to gather one or more tables of eight and join them for the first ever IPDC Quiz Night!
Enjoy a fun-filled night while helping to raise money for the work of the Black Pearl Network in Papua, Indonesia. This is your chance to show off your knowledge and make new friends in the Uniting Church family!

Stamps for UCAFThe Uniting Church Adult Fellowship (UCAF) collect used stamps as part of their fundraising for Frontier Services. They would love your used stamps which can be dropped at the Uniting Church Centre, or the Bicton Uniting Church. Please don't remove the backing paper, just trim with a 1cm border around the stamp. If you have some time to spare, UCAF would also appreciate some more stamp helpers to help trim and sort incoming stamps. They meet on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 2.00pm at Bicton Uniting Church. Minister's Symposium & SundownerThe Ministers’ Symposium & Sundowner is an event for ordained ministers and pastors to gather, network, and share ideas. It will be an opportunity to spend time together as colleagues over some drinks and nibbles and hear about the innovative ideas and possibilities that are emerging in other colleagues’ ministries. - "Gaza Speaks" Interdisciplinary Symposium - "Gaza Speaks" is an interdisciplinary symposium running between 20 - 27 July 2024 hosted by Murdoch University School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. - Final Service for UCIC Ross Memorial - After 128 years of worship, the Ross Memorial worshipping community of the Uniting Church in the City will be holding its final service on Sunday 28 July 2024. The special service, commencing at 9.30am, will mark the closure of the Ross Memorial worshipping community. The church invites members of the public to join in celebrating all that God has done since 1896, 128 years of worship, witness and service to the West Perth community. Ross Memorial Uniting Church is located on the corner of Hay & Colin Streets, West Perth.
