Click here A Message from our FounderThank you for the All the Memories!Dear Blue Blaze Tramily, As Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” plays in the background, I’m struck by the poignant irony as I type this out in otherwise still quiet. It is with a heavy heart and a profound sense of disappointment that I have to announce the closure of Blue Blaze Brewing at 528 S. Turner in March. Over the years, we've poured our passion, creativity, and dedication .. our blood, sweat, and tears into crafting exceptional liquids and fostering a vibrant community of beer, music, and outdoors lovers. The journey over the last 10 years since I began this idea has been nothing short of extraordinary, exceptional, and life-altering; and we are deeply grateful for the unwavering support and friendship you've shown us along the way. We very much wish that our place here could have continued to be available to us into the future. Our sincerest hope is that we can find a solution and a path forward in a new location and temporarily contract brew with one of our brewery friends in town. The search for these solutions to our challenges has and will continue in earnest. However, for now, we must unfortunately part ways from our current taproom. While the brewery doors and taps will close where we are now, the memories we've shared and the friendships we've forged will endure… this is the one time we definitely won’t LNT! From lively events to cozy evenings strumming guitars around the campfire, to first love, and even engagements & weddings, we spent our evenings together with a pint in hand with neighbors … with friends, new & old … and with family without a care in the world if even for brief moments in time. Everywhere I look in the brewery are memories of my father and I working closely together before we opened for weeks & months at a time when building out the brewery 8 years ago. He passed away two years ago from brain cancer and so the memories in our brewery carry a deep and immense significance to me personally. Each and every moment has been a testament to the power of good beer, of great company, and of family. We take pride in the legacy we’ve created and the indelible mark Blue Blaze has made on the craft beer landscape and in our hearts & lives. If you’d like to join us on last time to camel up, save the date for the weekend of March 8-10th for one last safety meeting farewell before we gotta gtfo. Stay tuned on our socials as we share some things planned for the weekend, but, more importantly, as we take a walk down memory lane. We've completed this thru-hike and now we'll move on to our next thru- on another long trail, and hope you'll join us. For now, we raise our glasses one last time, we raise a toast to you, our tramily, for your friendship, your loyalty, and your unwavering support. While this may be the end of this trail, we look forward to seeing where our adventures take us next. Thank you so much for being a part of our brewing tramily and for sharing in the love of the outdoors and craft beer with us. It has been my honor. Cheers and Happy Trails!
