- WCC calls on President Trump to follow international law for a just peace in Gaza (WCC) - World Council of Churches (WCC) general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay has described the proposal of US President Trump as “tantamount to proposing full-scale ethnic cleansing and neo-colonization of the homeland of the 2 million Palestinians of Gaza.”

Social Justice Commission State Election Resources - As part of their resourcing role, every election year the Social Justice Commission seeks to inform the Uniting Church WA community
of issues they see as important to consider when voting. The resource is non-party political, wishing to move beyond the slogans and look to the heart of the issues. The material is intended to help the community identify important issues facing Western Australia, listen to politicians and political parties with discernment, and cast an informed vote. There are resource sheets to download on seven topics, along with a summary 2-page flyer and poster for sharing. "Diving Deep" - Preparing Youth and Adults for Baptism and Confirmation - Dr Craig Mitchell
will be offering an online workshop for church leaders on Thursday 27 February, 10.30am to 12.45pm (AWST) and repeating it on Wednesday 12 March. The session will explore how we might approach baptism and confirmation in a post-Christendom era, belief and discipleship, the role of mentors, how ages and stages of faith are relevant, available resources and planning approaches. Cost is $30, with the workshop being via Zoom. The link will be sent after registration. - Call for Papers - Uniting Church National History Society 2025 Conference - The Uniting Church National History Society will hold its next National Conference 'The Church as a Prophetic Voice in Australian Society - Past, Present and Future' from 3 to 5 October 2025. The Society invites 20-minute papers addressing the conference theme. Papers may cover the period of the Uniting Church's life so far (1977-2025) and can also explore the history of its three founding denominations or other denominations.

Network Meeting - The next meeting of the Uniting Generations Network is on Thursday 6 March at Maylands-Mt Lawley Uniting Church from 10.00am to 12.00pm. New members are welcome – the group is open to anyone interested in children, family, young adult or intergenerational ministry
