APU NewsHomecoming 2023 Recap
Photos Above: Alumni Class Reunions - Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the community came together to enjoy the many campus-wide events that took place during APU’s Homecoming 2023, March 23-25. The kick-off event, “The Table,” hosted by the Student Government Association, gathered everyone together for dinner on Cougar Walk. Chapel, baseball and softball tailgates, department open houses, s’mores under the stars, alumni class reunions, and a support local market provided a time for fellowship and connection.
Major highlights included a preconcert block party and dynamic worship concert in the Felix Event Center, featuring Mosaic MSC from Los Angeles and ONE&ALL from San Dimas. The breakfast with President Adam Morris gave the community an opportunity to hear about his first year leading the university, including his focus on mission faithfulness and meaningfully engaging with our community of students, parents, friends, and alumni of APU. The grand finale was the Pacific Islander Organization’s (PIO) 34th annual Lū‘au dinner and show, featuring traditional Polynesian performances by APU student dancers as they captured the story of the disciples learning many lessons from Jesus.
