The impact of your support
To date in 2022, we have already awarded £914,220 in grants to 16 organisations, supporting more than 400,000 people in need. This has only been possible thanks to the generous support from our donors. Thank you!
Harland & Wolff launch partnership with The Seafarers' Charity
This partnership will aim to raise funds and support activities that will improve the lives of seafarers in need, supporting their practical and welfare needs at home, in port and at sea, often far away from home, enabling them to connect with loved ones – and to find comfort and companionship in retirement.
Safety Net launched to boost financial resilience of UK merchant seafarers
The Seafarers’ Charity in partnership with the Merchant Navy Welfare Board (MNWB) launched the Safety Net website to help UK merchant seafarers to manage their money during the current cost of living crisis and in the future.
The Seafarers’ Charity is committed to supporting Fairness in Fishing
The Seafarers’ Charity is calling for Government, the fishing industry and trade unions to work together to ensure that this existing legislation is enforced and upheld for everyone working within the UK fishing industry to ensure decent working conditions.

The National Federation of Fishermen’s Organisations (NFFO) is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Risk, Safety and Training Lead.
The post is partially supported by a three-year grant from The Seafarers’ Charity.

Support Mark Ashley-Miller's Harbour Sailing Master Challenge
On 31 March, we had the opportunity to celebrate Mark's incredible achievements by holding a drinks reception at St Katharine Docks where Good Dog, his Nautical 331 yacht, was docked.
Support Mark's challenge in meeting every UK Harbour Master (300) to raise funds in support of our charity whilst highlighting men's mental health.
