Jubilee Year 2025Throughout the world and here in the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, we are being encouraged to celebrate the Jubilee Year. We have so much on offer across the Diocese in 2025, including a huge launch event on Sunday 2 March. Bishop Michael Kennedy is inviting all communities to come along as we celebrate and share the hope we bring to our part of the world with the people of Newcastle. Called To Serve Mass 2025Sacred Heart Cathedral was nearly at capacity last Wednesday night as Catholic Schools staff gathered for the annual Called to Serve Mass. Artists of HopeAs we embark on the Jubilee Year, different events on a global scale have been put in place. The last few days 15-18 February have been designated as a time to recognise artists. |
