Moderator's Prayer for UCA Anniversary

Prayer for the Uniting Church

Today we celebrate the 49th Anniversary of our Uniting Church! Moderator Rev David Jackson has offered this prayer for the Uniting Church in Australia as part of the Assembly’s season of 'Uniting in Prayer'.

Uniting in Prayer was an opportunity for Uniting Church community from across the country to join together in 30 days of prayer from Pentecost Sunday on 24 May to the 49th Anniversary of the Uniting Church in Australia on 22 June.

Over the 30 days, 30 voices from across the Church offered a prayer, leading us to pray as one body around a single, unifying question: “What does it mean to be woven together in Christ’s love across cultures and boundaries?”

All of the prayers from Uniting in Prayer can be accessed on the Assembly website here.
