1988 Camaro - National Car Search
I am looking for a 1988 Camaro I purchased new but had to sell when my company I feel it is likely being used as a racecar considering its current age. I will pay $2000 to the first person that locates this car and provides me with a picture of the VIN number, a few pictures of the current condition of the car, and the contact information of the current owner. The VIN number is 1G1FP21F4JL149816. Regardless of the condition of the car, I will come take a look at it. The car was delivered with a white exterior and gray interior, though it may have been repainted for racing. It came with a 305 engine with fuel injection,
a 5-speed I received a tip that my car actually may now be a race car and may have a paint scheme like the one in the below picture. This information may help someone who remembers a car with paint like or similar to the image above. Please contact me at the cell phone number below.

News from SCCA The Key to Getting to the Front of the Line at a Motorsports Job InterviewNOV 11, 2025 — The SCCA Foundation works to ensure that future generations will have the same opportunity to compete in amateur motorsports as we enjoy today. One way the Foundation has pursued this objective is providing support to Formula SAE. On Oct. 11-12, 2025, Raleigh Boreen (SCCA Foundation Board member) and Andrew Benagh (SCCA Solo program Administrative Manager) attended the Formula SAE Workshop held in Lincoln, NE, sharing their knowledge, insights, and perspective about SCCA and its relevance to the auto engineers of tomorrow. Raleigh discussed how participating in the FSAE program can profoundly impact students’ future and is complimented by engagement in motorsports through the SCCA. He related how Jim Campbell, Head of GM Motorsports, shared how student involvement in FSAE often signals to major employers a candidate’s readiness for advanced stages in the hiring process. Inside the SCCA Podcast: What Happened to Pitt Race?NOV 14 2025 — When news broke that Pittsburgh International Race Complex (Pitt Race) had been sold and was set to close by the end of the year, the motorsports world was stunned. In this emotional episode of the Inside the SCCA podcast, host Brian Bielanski sits down with longtime racer and insider Dan Dennehy-Rodriguez to unpack what is publicly known about the sale, what happened inside those closed-door zoning meetings, and what it means for the future of grassroots racing in America. Thousands in SCCA Women on Track Scholarships Ready for the Taking in 2026NOV 3, 2025 — Each year, SCCA Women on Track distributes thousands of dollars in scholarships to women looking to advance their motorsports dreams. For 2026, the overall scholarship total tallies to $11,500, exceeding last year’s offering and greatly extending the reach of this essential program. From Solo® to RoadRally, RallyCross®, Road Racing, Time Trials, and volunteering, these scholarships aid women in a variety of competition types, offering financial support that enables them to participate on a level they may otherwise not be able to. Scholarship applications are being now. Some scholarships have an application deadline of Jan. 15, 2026, while the deadline for other scholarships is May 31, 2026. Applying for the scholarships, meanwhile, couldn’t be easier. 5 Ways to Remove Cone MarksOCT 30, 2025 — With the 2025 Tire Rack SCCA® Solo® National Championships in the history books (which, in my humble opinion, was one of the best I’ve attended), all that’s left to do is get those pesky cone marks off of the finish of our cars. But how? While I was at the Solo Nats, I tried five different methods for making cars look like their drivers (or co-drivers) didn’t hit any cones at all during that event. Yes, the permanent record we call the “results” will always show quite a few cones took abuse, but that doesn’t mean the cars need to maintain that blemish. ——— Sponsors ———2025 Event ScheduleAutocross Dates:
