CheckINIssue 200 | 31 August 2023
Hi all,
Welcome to the 200th edition of CheckIN!
With CheckUP's Outreach Forum and 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner only one week away, we thank everyone who has purchased tickets to these exciting events. We are about to enter one of our busiest and most exciting periods of the year and we hope that you will be joining us for some of the events taking place in coming weeks. Firstly, our third annual Health Gateway to Industry Schools Forum will be taking place this Friday 1 September 2023. With over 100 attendees, an opening address from Minister Di Farmer, and the inaugural Health Gateway student and teacher awards being announced, this event is sure to be one of the highlights of our year. Next, our always popular Outreach Forum returns to our schedule of events this year. Being
held on Friday 8 October, the Forum has almost 150 people already registered and promises to be highly engaging and informative with a stellar line up of speakers, three great master classes to select from, and ample opportunities to network with colleagues from the health sector. Thirdly, our most spectacular event for 2023 is taking place on the evening of 8 September. After 25 years of working in partnership with our members and stakeholders, our 25th anniversary Gala Dinner will provide an opportunity to gather together while being treated to musical performances during a night of fine food, fun and celebration.
Lastly, we are currently planning the first of our regional networking events, to he held in Cairns on 19 September from 5pm to 7pm. This is an opportunity for some of our staff and board to meet with our regional partners to reflect on our collective achievements over the past 25 years, and look to the future, in a social setting. Registration for this event will be opening soon. Please contact one of our events staff if you would like to join us at any of these events. Looking forward to catching up with you over the next few weeks! Best wishes,
