Six Town Housing Board Annual General MeetingThe Annual General Meeting of Six Town Housing will be held on Wednesday 7th December 2022 at 4:30pm to 5pm as a virtual meeting via Teams. Winner of the Environmental Policy survey Prize DrawEarlier this month, we asked to hear your feedback about our new Environment Policy. 726 tenants replied to the survey giving many opinions on maintenance, standard of cleaning and local neighbourhood issues. As part of the Survey, each tenant that responded was entered into a prize draw to win a £100 voucher, where the winner was picked at random. The lucky winner was Ron Gallagher in Radcliffe. A new foodbank has opened in PrestwichLast month, a new foodbank opened in Prestwich at Heaton Park Methodist Church Hall. For just £3 per carrier bag, the foodbank provides a simple “shop” for people to come and choose a selection of goods they would find helpful. The weekly Community Drop in will be at St Andrew’s, Woodward Road, M25 9TY Free Digital courses for tenantsOur Tenant Engagement Advisors, Debbie and Marie, have been working with Moorfield residents offering beginners digital training. This is a great group session in a warm friendly space, for residents to chat, connect and learn over a brew. This week’s session was all about creating an email address and sending an email to a friend or family. Next week, the group will look at replies. The course is built around what the residents want to learn and will run as long as it needs to.
