Arts Projects for Individuals and organisations Amount: Individuals and groups $10,000 - $50,000 Organisations $20,000 - $100,000
Closing Date: 5 September 2023
Purpose: The Arts Projects Grant supports artists and arts organisations in visual arts, music, theatre, dance, literature, First Nations arts, community arts and cultural development, emerging and experimental arts and multi-arts. The funds can be used for a wide range of purposes including, but not limited to: creating or presenting new works, undertaking collaborations, touring and exhibitions, for promotion and marketing as well as career development for artists and arts workers. Defence Global Competitiveness Grants Program Amount: $15,000 - $150,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To bolster a sustainable and globally competitive Australian defence industry by assisting eligible Australian SMEs in developing export capability. The program focuses on helping businesses overcome barriers to export opportunities, such as attaining international certifications/accreditations and capital item procurement. Direct Aid Program Amount: $60,000

Purpose: To support non-profit organisations working in local communities on activities which support sustainable and equitable development. For more information: Click here

Growing Regions Grant Programs Amount: $500,000 - $15 million
Closing Date: 1 August 2023
Purpose: Local government entities and not-for-profit organisations will be able to apply for grants through the program, which will be open, competitive and merit-based. The grants can be used to cover up to 50 per cent of eligible project costs. For more information: Click here

Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) Amount: $50,000 - $200,000
Closing Date: 30 August 2023
Purpose: To support the economic empowerment of Australian First Nations women, girls and sistergirls. The grant provides opportunities to support First Nations female entrepreneurs to innovate and solve social issues facing their communities and improve the economic security of other First Nations women and their communities. Industrial Energy Transformation Studies Program Amount: Up to $5 million
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To assist large energy users to undertake engineering and feasibility studies to identify opportunities to lower energy costs and reduce emissions at their facilities. Applicants can seek $100,000 to $500,000 for feasibility studies or $250,000 to $5 million for engineering studies. For more information: Click here

Local Sporting Champion Grant Amount: $500 - $750

Purpose: Local junior athletes turning 12 to 18 years of age in the same calendar year as the nominated sporting championship can apply for a grant to cover the cost of: - Travel

Long Tan Bursary Amount: $12,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: The Long Tan Bursary helps eligible children and grandchildren of Vietnam veterans pay for their tertiary education. Each year 37 bursaries are awarded to successful applicants across Australia. Each bursary is worth up to $12,000 over 3 years of continuous full-time study. For more information: Click here

National Action Plan to Combat Modern Slavery 2020 to 2025 Amount: Total investment $4.4 million
Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: To support and fund activities to actively prevent and combat all forms of modern slavery in Australia. In Australia, modern slavery refers to a range of serious exploitative practices, including trafficking in persons, slavery, slavery-like practices (for example, forced labour, servitude, debt bondage, forced marriage) and the worst form of child labour.
Funding for this grant opportunity will be provided under 2 streams: - Stream 1: Combating Modern Slavery
- Stream 2: Research.

Peri-Urban Mobile Program (PUMP) Public Consultation Closing Date: 16 August 2023.
Purpose: Local residents and Councils can now have their say for grant guidelines of Round 2 of the Peri-Urban Mobile Program (PUMP) to improve mobile coverage on the urban fringes of communities across Australia. Many parts of the Shortland electorate are eligible. Local councils and community groups are invited to upload their project proposals to the Noticeboard.

Sovereign Industrial Capability Priority Grants Amount: $50,000 - $1 million
Closing Date: ongoing
Purpose: To enhance the capabilities of Australian SMEs critical to the defence industry. The grants, can cover up to 50% of eligible project expenditure. The program focuses on areas such as combat technology, aerospace maintenance, surveillance and intelligence, space, and cyber capabilities. For more information: Click here

Strengthening Medicare–General Practice (GP) Grants Program Amount: Up to $50,000
Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: To allow all General Practices and eligible Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) to expand patient access and improve their services through investments in innovation, training, equipment, and minor capital works. Smaller practices are eligible for grants of $25,000 or $35,000,and larger practices are eligible for grants of $50,000. GP practices and ACCHOs not currently accredited against the RACGP standards will be eligible for $25,000. For more information: Click here

Vietnam War Commemorative Medallion Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: To acknowledge the 50th anniversary of the end of Australia’s involvement in the Vietnam War. The medallions are available for every Vietnam veteran, widows of veterans and other family members of veterans. For more information: Click here

Active Kids Program Amount: $50
Closing Date: 31 January 2024
Purpose: The NSW Government has announced changes to the Active Kids and First Lap programs. From 1 July 2023, all children enrolled in school will be eligible for a new $50 Active Kids voucher which will be valid until 31 January 2024. The voucher will be issued twice a year, at the start of Terms 1 and 3 and will cover activities currently available under the Active and Creative Kids programs. For more information: Click here

Dobell Exhibition Grant Amount: $10,000 - $30,000

Purpose: To provide financial assistance towards the development of new, curated exhibitions of visual arts at regional and public galleries in NSW. To assist in expanding appreciation for the visual arts, the proposed exhibition should be supported by innovative public and education programs that creatively engage both artists and the community. Small Grants - Museums and Galleries NSW Amount: $2,000
Closing Date: 10 September 2023
Purpose: To meet the short-term, collection-based requirements of community museums and Aboriginal cultural spaces. There are no set categories for funding, and applications for a broad range of projects will be considered. For more information: Click here

Quick Response Grants - Regional Arts Fund and Regional Arts NSW Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: Quick Response Grants support immediate needs that arise where the activity is unable to be planned for or supported in other funding rounds, for example taking up professional development, skills development or small project opportunities at short notice. Quick Response Grants are delivered monthly from February to November and all applications will be competitively assessed at the end of each month For more information: Click here

NSW Government Youth Opportunities Program Grants Amount: $10,000 - $50,000

Purpose: To provide one-off, time-limited grants for new projects that enable marginalised young people to lead and participate in their communities. This grant is open to not-for-profit community organisations and Councils. For more information: Click here

NSW Small Business Month Grant Amount: $10,000 - $50,000
Closing Date: 1 August 2023
Purpose: The NSW Small Business Month 2023 program has been designed to support small businesses in tackling their current challenges and to prepare for the future. From financial health to mental wellbeing, upskilling staff to selling online – this year’s events will cover seven different subcategories, focused around the theme ‘My Small Business’. Corena Quick Win Climate Loan Amount: Undisclosed

Purpose: The CORENA Fund provides interest-free loans to help fund Quick Win climate projects anywhere in Australia in cases where the up-front capital cost is a barrier. Examples of projects eligible for CORENA loans include: - Solar installations
- Replacing gas hot water with efficient electric alternatives (eg. heat pumps)
- Replacing inefficient air conditioning and gas space heating systems with
reverse cycle air conditioners
- Induction cooktops
- Lighting retrofits
- Electric vehicles
- Energy audits
- Other cost-effective energy efficiency measures
- A
combined package of two or more of the above.

Purpose: To tackle poverty and disadvantage in local communities. These grants are only available to Neighbourhood and Community Houses and Centres who are members of our state peak bodies. Funding can include (and is not limited to): - Wages for the delivery of the project
