Get Your Flu Shot!
As flu season begins, the flu shot is now available at all LCHC clinic locations for patients aged 6 months and up. It is important to protect yourself and your family from the flu virus. With kids back in school and many adults working in-person again, the chances of contracting the flu are much higher. To schedule your flu shot, call your Care Team or ask about it at your next medical appointment.

Get to Know Our Providers
Elizabeth Lockerman, MD
Elizabeth Lockerman, MD, is an Internal Medicine specialist at LCHC and assists patients who are struggling with chronic illnesses. She applied to work at LCHC because she was inspired by the care and support provided to patients of the health center. Dr. Lockerman is determined to address the profound health disparities in Chicago and is passionate about providing quality care through a trusting doctor-patient relationship. LCHC's focus on dignity, diversity, and promotion of wellness throughout the Lawndale community have encouraged Dr. Lockerman to not only make an impact through medicine, but the love and compassion that come with it. Dr. Lockerman is conscious of the connection that patients desire to have with their providers.
She says, "To have a doctor get to know you and the things that you find troublesome about your health is so important. I believe that's what healthcare is all about. I encourage patients to do their best to see the same Provider and build that relationship so they can know you and take care of you well."

Community Needs Survey
Lawndale Christian Health Center is partnering with Saint Anthony Hospital to assess the health needs of the West and Southwest sides of Chicago. We're seeking your feedback to understand the current needs in our community for both children's mental health services and Substance Use Disorder services.
