Stress Awareness Month
During April, we recognize Stress Awareness Month, emphasizing the significance of effectively managing stress for our health and well-being. We host Stress Management Group sessions for adults aged 18+, providing guidance on healthy lifestyle habits, relaxation exercises, helpful thinking strategies, etc. Talk with your care team today about joining our Stress Management Group to kickstart a healthier, more balanced life.
School Physicals: Schedule Now!
If your child is due for an updated school physical for their next school year, call us now to get scheduled. This summer, LCHC will be switching to a new Electronic Health Record system. Because of this, we will have a limited number of appointments available in late July and August while we transition. Kids who complete their school physical before June 30th can redeem a FREE cup of fro-yo from the Green Tomato Cafe!

Monica Naumann, NP
Monica Nuamann, NP, recently joined the Lawndale Christian Health Center team after relocating to Chicago with her family in August last year. With a nursing degree from Valparaiso University and a master's degree from the Catholic University of America, Monica brings a wealth of experience, including five years of service in Sri Lanka, which has equipped her with cross-cultural understanding and empathy for patients going through transitional phases in their lives. Monica states, "I have always believed that my calling in life is to serve others."
Committed to this calling, Monica approaches patient care with honesty, humility, and respect, aiming to provide the best possible care while acknowledging that ultimate healing rests in God's hands. She finds the most rewarding aspect of her job is meaningful patient interactions and the collaborative spirit among her colleagues at LCHC.
She says, “The unity and sense of purpose among my colleagues have made my journey here immensely rewarding. It’s an honor to work alongside individuals dedicated to the same mission.”
