Other News

Do you work with men living with prostate cancer?
ANZUP has endorsed a study investigating how prostate cancer treatments may be impacting men's lives and their families.

Lorna Huang, PhD Candidate at Macquarie University, is examining the problems experienced by prostate cancer patients undergoing hormone therapy (e.g., cognitive problems, mental health, etc.). To compare people's experiences, we hope to recruit men:

  1. undergoing hormone therapy treatments for prostate cancer
  2. not undergoing hormone therapy treatments for prostate cancer
  3. without prostate cancer

In doing this research, we endeavour to provide insights into ways we can support men with prostate cancer. You can direct men to this link: https://tinyurl.com/prostatecognition and here's a flyer you can print and display.
