We were thrilled to come together once again for a day filled with insightful discussions and connection, exploring the future of workplace wellbeing through this year’s theme - Evolving Together: Strategies for Tomorrow’s Workforce. 💡 Deborah Howe from the Mental Health Commission of NSW opened the day, highlighting the value of lived experience and the role of collaboration in achieving better mental health and wellbeing outcomes. 💡Erin Williams from Salesforce welcomed us as the Forum host, and shared Salesforce's commitment to the values behind their wellbeing culture. 💡 Embracing Age Diversity: Future-Proofing Workplace Wellbeing Strategies: Dr. Katya Numbers from UNSW’s Ageing Futures Institute explored how to meet the needs of a multi-generational workforce, including the impact of unconscious bias on inter-generational collaboration and how careful framing can increase utilisation of mental health supports across different audiences. 💡 What is your organisation's state of mind?: Lynette Mayne from The B Team Australia highlighted the inter-company collaboration driving The B Team’s people and planet initiatives, including the formation of the Climate Leaders Coalition and the development of the "Our State of Mind" evaluation tool 💡 Future-focused Approach to Psychological Health & Safety: Kate McGinniskin from SafeWork NSW introduced SafeWork’s Psychological Health and Safety Strategy 2024-2026, along with the guidance and resources available to support NSW businesses. 💡 Collaborating for Future Workplace Health: A panel discussion with Kim Hamrosi from Corporate Mental Health Alliance Australia and Brianna Cattanach from Allianz, moderated by Jennifer Cains from Advice for Good, drawing insights from Australia’s largest employers and the workers' compensation and claims data. 💡 Building a Positive Mental Wellbeing Culture at Work: Bhavna Sawnani and Simon Wake from Ipsos Australia explored data from the “Our State of Mind” tool, analysing mental wellbeing drivers across connection, leadership, and fulfilment, and the importance of leadership trust, fairness, and psychological safety.
