We will continue to bring you updates related to the Medical Transportation (MT) Program and Transformation Project, as well as additional information to make your experience with booking patient travel easier and more efficient. Engagement ReportWe are grateful to the community health leads, PT Clerks and other participants for attending our MT Transformation Project engagement series from October 2021-January 2022. Your time commitment, thoughtful comments and open dialogue have inspired us as we continue this path of transforming the MT program to better serve our clients and communities. The feedback has been compiled in the MT engagement report and will guide us in making future changes and improvements to the program. We welcome additional feedback and may further revise and update this engagement report to reflect that. Personal Vehicle Mileage RateIn our previous newsletter we announced a temporary mileage rate increase of $0.05 per kilometer effective from March 1 to May 30, 2022. This increase was prompted by recent, significant increases to fuel costs. We are currently reviewing and will be announcing any further changes shortly. We would also like to acknowledge the feedback received from community about the approach to calculation of mileage rates as a supplement to costs associated with patient travel. We appreciate this feedback and can assure that these concerns are being actively discussed with FNHA leadership and we will announce any further changes beyond the temporary increase in the coming months. Medical Transportation User GroupFNHA has been collaborating with experienced PT Clerks through the newly formed MT User Group. The group provides FNHA with input and feedback on the development of the new web-based MT administrative system. We thank all our participants who have joined our past sessions and looking forward to the continuation of the user group series.
