Uniting WA - Connections that CountUniting WA are holding a 'Connections that Count' event with the theme of 'Supporting West Australian women in crisis'. This pitch-style event will present three unique Uniting WA programs that each support vulnerable women in different ways. You'll hear from three Uniting WA teams - Moorditj Yorga, The Together Program & Wyn Carr House - who will each make their pitch for your vote. Enjoy food, drinks, conversation and impact! The event is on Thursday 21 March, 5.30pm to 8.00pm at MinterEllison, Perth. Cost is $60.00 per person (refreshments included)

News & Information World Day of Prayer 2024 (UCA) - The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical day of prayer led by Christian women on the first Friday in March.
This year it will be held on 1 March, 2024. This year the Order of Service has been prepared by Palestinian women. The theme is: ‘I Beg You, Bear With One Another in Love” (Eph 4:3) WCC general secretary meets Israeli president (WCC) - Israeli president Isaac Herzog formally received World Council of Churches (WCC) general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay on 20 February, to discuss the current situation in Israel and Palestine, and the war in Gaza. - Supporting rural communities with the power of generosity - Introduction to Frontier Services, Frontier News.
- Juniper Chair transition - Ms Maree Arnason will retire as Independent Board Chair of
Juniper at the end of February 2024 following a distinguished decade with the organisation. The Juniper Board has appointed Mr Grant Robinson as the new Juniper Chair.
