Moderator's Reflections on the Pacific Churches Leaders Meeting in FijiIn April 2026 Uniting Church WA Moderator Rev David Jackson attended the Pacific Conference of Churches, Pacific Church Leaders Meeting in Suva, Fiji He attended as part of a Uniting Church delegation that included the President Rev Charissa Suli, Co-Chair of Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress Rev Ken Sumner and other UCA leaders. David shares his reflections on his time in Fiji, highlighting some of the many important issues the meeting addressed.

Good Sammy has been named the winner of Western Australia’s National Disability Awards in the Excellence in Supporting Employment Outcomes category, recognising a proven, person-centred approach that is helping more Western Australians with disability move into work.

Uniting in Prayer 2026
From Pentecost Sunday on 24 May to the 49th Anniversary of the Uniting Church in Australia on 22 June, the UCA are embarking on a shared season of national prayer. Over these thirty days, thirty voices from across the Church will come together. Each day, a new voice will lead us in praying as one body around a single, unifying question: “What does it mean to be woven together in Christ's love across cultures and boundaries?”
Congregations and individuals are invited to journey with the Uniting Church in this prayer series beginning on Pentecost Sunday.
Safe Church Awareness Workshop
There will be a Safe Church Awareness Workshop taking place on Saturday 23 May from 9.30am to 2.30pm at Northam Uniting Church, 103 Duke St, Northam, WA (Please note corrected times). All ministers, pastors, church leaders, volunteers, members of congregations and those involved in community services are welcome and urged to attend. The cost is $20.00 per person. Please bring your own lunch.
