This could be from practices discontinuing the use of the secure messaging solution Argus for their practice and not removing the practice and/or GP details from the Argus directory. The discharge summary distribution functionality searches for Argus (A) first when distributing messages electronically and will only default to the next messaging provider if no GP/practice details are found in the Argus directory. If the GP practice/details are still found in the Argus directory, this will cause a delivery error.
