AusBike Funding For Children Purpose: To help more children enjoy the mental and physical health benefits of outdoor exercise. Parents or carers can enrol their children locally for term-based programs which will be delivered nationally by accredited instructors through cycling and riding clubs, leisure centres and private coaches. Crown Reserves Improvement Fund Amount: Total pool $14 million
Closing Date: 17 November 2023
Purpose: To provide funding for repairs, maintenance and improvements on Crown reserves. $14 million has been allocated for general projects, pests and weeds and an additional $2 million has been set aside for loans. The funding aims to benefit the community, boost our economy and contribute to the cultural, sporting and recreational life of NSW. For more information: Click here

Digital Specialist-in-Residence Grant Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: 14 November 2023
Purpose: To provide arts organisations with access to a specialist who will help them develop their digital capacity and pilot a new digitally led project. The program also provides $3000 seed funding to assist in prototyping or piloting your digitally led project (granted after a successful pitch of your project). For more information: Click here

Elevate: First Nations Storytelling (Literature) Amount: More than $33,000 worth of prizes
Closing Date: 18-19 November 2023
Purpose: Elevate is a career development grant opportunity of up to $10,000 for First Nations individuals and groups. The opportunity is open to writers, poets, editors, illustrators, journalists, arts workers and groups in the literature sector. For more information: Click here

Fair Work Commission (FWC) Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) Base Funding Amount: Total pool $105.1 million
Closing Date: 30 November 2023
Purpose: To provide funding for CHSP service providers to meet the costs of passing on the minimum award requirements to eligible aged care workers. For more information: Click here

Long Tan Bursary Amount: $12,000
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: The Long Tan Bursary helps eligible children and grandchildren of Vietnam veterans pay for their tertiary education. Each year 37 bursaries are awarded to successful applicants across Australia. Each bursary is worth up to $12,000 over 3 years of continuous full-time study. For more information: Click here

National Science Week 2024 Grants Amount: $2000 - $20,000

Powering the Regions Fund - Safeguard Transformation Stream Round 1 Amount: $500,000.00 - $50 million
Closing Date: 1 November 2024
Purpose: The outcome of this grant opportunity is a reduction of emissions at trade exposed Safeguard facilities consistent with their obligations under the Safeguard Mechanism. For more information: Click here

Safe Places Emergency Accommodation Inclusion Round (Inclusion Round) Amount: Undisclosed
Closing Date: 14 November 2023
Purpose: The Australian Government is inviting organisations via an open, competitive grant process to apply for the Safe Places Inclusion Round. The Inclusion Round provides capital works grants for the renovation, building or purchase of new or expanded emergency accommodation for women and children experiencing family and domestic violence. 2024 Simpson Prize Closing Date: 3 November 2023
Purpose: The Simpson Prize is a national competition for Year 9 and 10 students that encourages students to learn and write about contributions made by Australians in the World War I. Winners from each state and territory will be part of a three-day history program in Canberra plus an overseas study tour for ANZAC Day in April 2024. For more information: Click here

School Student Broadband Initiative Amount: Access 12 months free broadband
Closing Date: 30 April 2024
Purpose: To provide up to 30,000 families with no internet at home free NBN for 12 months. To be eligible, a family must: - Have a child living at home that is enrolled in an Australian school.
- Have no active broadband service over the NBN network.

Active Kids Program Amount: $50
Closing Date: 31 January 2024
Purpose: The NSW Government has announced changes to the Active Kids and First Lap programs. From 1 July 2023, all children enrolled in school will be eligible for a new $50 Active Kids voucher which will be valid until 31 January 2024. The voucher will be issued twice a year, at the start of Terms 1 and 3 and will cover activities currently available under the Active and Creative Kids programs. For more information: Click here

Anzac Community Grants Program Amount: $3,000
Closing Date: 11 November 2023
Purpose: To provide grants for projects that either promote appreciation and understanding of the service and sacrifice of military service personnel or support activities and services to enhance the wellbeing of the NSW veteran community. For more information: Click here

Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund Amount: $40,000
Closing Date: 31 January 2024
Purpose: To support cricket in local communities. The ACIF is open to all clubs, associations, schools, councils and cricket facility managers. Typical projects include the construction or refurbishment of pitches, ovals, practice facilities, change rooms, pavilions and supporting infrastructure. For more information: Click here

Energy Consumer Australia Amount: $15,000

Purpose: To enable residential or small business consumer advocacy by participation in current or forthcoming government, regulatory, or industry decision-making processes, or for small, targeted research projects. For more information: Click here

Level the Playing Field Program Amount: $200,000 - $2 million
Closing Date: 30 November 2023
Purpose: The Program investment will revive sport facilities by providing new or upgrading existing sport facilities, amenities and sporting fields. Funding will also support the provision of new and upgraded lighting that will enable more women and girls to train and compete in sport in a safe and inclusive environment. Youth Leadership Program Closing Date: 17 November 2023
Purpose: We are recruiting for 12 young people, aged 15-24, connecting like-minded individuals who care about community challenges and want to work together to develop meaningful solutions that create positive change. The program engages young people, empowering them to take action, be advocates for their peers and provide advice on Council initiatives from a young person’s perspective. Let’s Fish Lake Mac Angles for Entrants Amount: More than $33,000 worth of prizes
Closing Date: 18-19 November 2023
Purpose: It’s not just bragging rights up for grabs at this year’s Let’s Fish Lake Mac competition – more than $33,000 worth of prizes are also on offer. The popular catch-and-release contest will see anglers of all ages wet a line in Lake Macquarie across the weekend of 18-19 November in search of four target fish species: tailor, flathead, bream and whiting.
