Welcome to the 2024-2025 Academic Year

A warm welcome to families joining us this term - and to our returning pupils and families. We hope you're starting the year refreshed and recharged after a good break. 

The year has started with outstanding results from our sixth form pupils. Ms Stubbs, Deputy Head Academic, announced the results by saying; “We are delighted with the results that the pupils have secured this year, and the subsequent offers that they have received. The breadth and depth of courses and destinations that the pupils are now moving on to study is testament to their hard work and dedication combined with the commitment and support demonstrated by the staff team."

GCSE results were similarly gratifying. A stunning 92% achieved results between 9 – 4  (A* - C ) - well above the national average of 67%.

Sedbergh On Tour

Our ‘Sedbergh on Tour’ events are an opportunity to meet representatives from Sedbergh School, Sedbergh Prep, and Sedbergh Courses over refreshments, at different locations - including Clitheroe, Lytham, Edinburgh, Northumberland and York. 

Nursery to Year 9 Open Mornings

On Friday 27th September, our whole school will be on site, from Reception through to Year 8, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to experience a typical ‘day in the life’ of Casterton, Sedbergh Prep School. 

Sixth Form Open Day

An open day at Sedbergh School is the perfect opportunity to meet the Headmaster, our pupils and academic and boarding staff, as well as tour the school campus. We'll be hosting several Open Days over the coming months and we invite interested families to come along.
