As we move swiftly into our Winter Program at the club, here's an update to help plan your tennis and social activities for the remainder of the year. Now do remember when it get's dark we only have 2 floodlit court's to work with!
Club Finals 2021
We have completed all but the Mixed Doubles Championships for 2021 with the winners listed as follows:
Men’s - J Reid
Ladies - S Hosking
Men's 40+ - A Kettle
Ladies 40+ - S Hosking
Men's Doubles - S Seaman & D Grew
Ladies Doubles - H Urbanowicz & E King
Congratulations also to Steve Richards & Martin Meredith for winning the maiden 60+ Men’s Vets Doubles event, which was held on a separate date.
Winter Evening Mixed Club Play Guidelines
(November - March) -
As the evenings get darker earlier, we will lose the ability to play on the hard courts. Moving forward and through the winter months we are trialling a book in advance 2 slot system. Using the clubspark booking application you will now be able to book either a 6-7pm or 7-8pm slot. There are 8 spaces available in each slot. Those not booking in advance will only be able to play on the unlit hardcourts.

Club Mixed Doubles Event
Sunday 31st October 2021. (9.30am prompt start)
Club Mixed Doubles Tournament - Both social and competitive. Battle through the round robin qualifying rounds and find yourself in the knockout stages. Lunch provided £20 per team, entry fee. It's also a god spectacle to watch so if you fancy being part of the crowd then do come down - we will make sure your well looked after
Next camp dates -
October Half Term
(Tue-Thur)
Focusing on fun, introducing and improving on speed, agility, co-ordination, quickness and ability. The camps are available to all ages from children as young as four. Typically, the camps run on Tuesday - Thursday from 10:00 -13:00PM. As the weather in the UK can be unpredictable, please ensure your child has adequate protection from the sun, rain, cold, and wind. Club Christmas Party
Saturday 18 Dec, 8.00pm - Bath Tennis Club.
Following on from last year's success - Let's all host a special festive experience at Bath TC with a Buffet, Booze and Boogie night party! Bring a dish and a friend if you wish! Tickets £5
Finally ensure your courts are safe to play on, removing any leaves or debris before you start, especially when it's wet underfoot. It is worth bearing in mind that if you are committed to playing on the courts, we do recommend that you wear tennis appropriate footwear to support the types of movement you are likely to make! Running shoes and non tennis specific footwear is not regarded as ideal and could lead to a hightend risk of injury.
