The Uniting Centre for Education and Formation (UCEF) is offering a free Mentoring Workshop on Wednesday 1 July from 9.30am to 12.30pm at St Peter and Emmaus Church, Joondanna. Whether you’re walking alongside someone discerning a call, supporting a candidate through formation, or helping a newly ordained minister or lay preacher find their feet — mentoring is a significant responsibility. And most of us learned on the job. Come and spend a
morning with other mentors. We’ll work through real scenarios, share what we’ve learned, and pick up some practical tools for the road ahead. Monthly Resources for CongregationsDid you know our Rural Resource Minister, Rev Craig Bosman, sends out a monthly email with a wide range of worship resources to help with Sunday service preparation and delivery? The email from Craig contains everything worship leaders would need to put together a Sunday worship service and is sent out 3 to 4 weeks in advance. These resources don’t only go out to regional, rural, and remote churches, they are also sent out to Perth metropolitan congregations who are in need of support.
